Cheryl Middleton Jones

Cheryl Middleton Jones has served as executive vice president, chief people officer for Velera since January 2024. Prior to the PSCU/Co-op Solutions combination, she served as chief people officer at 
Co-op Solutions since November 2018, bringing more than 20 years of human resources and change management experience within large organizations to help lead Co-op’s transformation as a digital enterprise.  

Jones joined Co-op from Discovery, Inc., a mass media company operating the Discovery Channel and others, where she served as senior vice president of Human Resources. In this capacity, Cheryl was responsible for defining and executing strategy, as well as creating consistent structures, systems and operating plans for more than 4,000 global employees. Prior to joining Discovery in 2011, she held Human Resources leadership roles at ING and Honeywell.

Jones holds a B.A. in Business Management from North Carolina State University and an M.B.A. in Organizational Behavior from the University of Michigan.
