Brian Scott

Brian Scott has served as executive vice president, chief growth officer at Velera since January 2024. In this role, he oversees a large and diverse group of the company’s most critical client-facing teams, while partnering with industry leaders in payments and community financial institutions to create competitive payments programs. Scott previously served as senior vice president, chief growth officer at PSCU since March 2019. He closely monitors the payments marketplace to identify trends and analyze emerging technologies to help credit unions turn these innovations into growth opportunities. Scott joined PSCU in December 2015 as SVP, Vendor Alliances.

Scott has spent nearly 25 years in the highly competitive consumer payments marketplace. Prior to joining PSCU, he served in senior leadership roles at The Members Group (TMG) for 14 years. A recognized industry thought leader, he is a frequent speaker on the future of payments, new payments trends and how new payments technologies will transform the current banking space.

Scott holds a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from Drake University.
