Brian Caldarelli

EVP and Chief Administrative Officer

Brian Caldarelli has served as Velera’s executive vice president, chief administrative officer since January 2024. In this role, he is responsible for leading the organization’s overall financial strategy, as well as its enterprise risk management, legal and transformation/integration functions. Caldarelli also serves as the executive leader of the company’s Integration Management Office (IMO), leading the organization’s combination initiatives. 

Caldarelli joined PSCU as executive vice president, chief financial officer in July 2012 and led the company’s Financial Planning and Reporting, Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), Treasury, Accounting, Tax and Internal Audit functions to ensure the continued growth and prosperity of the CUSO and its 900+ Owner credit unions. 

Prior to joining PSCU, Caldarelli served as chief financial officer for the European division of Recall Corp., a global document management company, for four years. With more than 25 years of experience, including senior leadership roles with Bank of America and Acuity Brands, Caldarelli has established a reputation for building world-class teams and developing financial and business goals that support corporate strategy and growth objectives. For his achievements, the Tampa Bay Business Journal named him CFO of the Year in 2015. 

Caldarelli currently serves as a board member for Bonifii and the Worldwide Foundation for Credit Unions. He holds a B.B.A in finance from Stetson University and an M.B.A. from Emory University.
